Explanation of Charges: 
♦ The above charges are per person charges for Kedarnath tour. The charges are same for participants of all age group.
♦ The charges include triple sharing stay. If you wish to upgrade to twin-sharing, 2000 per couple will be applicable for regular itinerary and 3000 for combo of Kedarnath + Rishikesh.
♦ Travel from Delhi will be in AC bus, and travel from Mumbai will be in AC 3 Tier Train.
♦ Initial booking amount:  Rs.5000/-, balance payment needs to be done 20 days prior to event date.

Kedarnath Yarta - Mumbai to Delhi

Catch up with the group at train station, and proceed to Delhi. Next day we will be reaching Nizamuddin Stn (Delhi) at 13:50 Hrs.

Day 2

Delhi to Haridwar

Those travelling with the group from Mumbai will be reaching Delhi at 13:50 Hrs. We will have sufficient time to explore a few spots in Delhi, you may tag along with the group or opt to rest at railway station or any other place of your preference and then meetup at above mentioned meeting time. 

The entire group will be boarding the bus at 22:00 hrs and reach Haridwar around 04:00 am.

Day 3

Haridwar to Sonprayag

Those coming along with the group from Delhi/Mumbai will freshen up at Haridwar station and proceed to board the bus for Sonprayag.

04:00 pm  Reach Sonaprayag and rest for the day. Much needed after the long journey.

Day 4

Sonprayag to Kedarnath

Return to rest at the hotel.

Rishikesh to Delhi

05:30 am: Check out and move for sightseeing and adventure, you can try River-Rafting, Flying fox, Bungee Jumping, Zip line (We would help to get the best rates possible, check "important note" section for estimated charges) 
Note: If you do not wish to go for adventure activities you can continue exploring Rishikesh.
06:30 pm: Entire group to reunite at Rishikesh bus stand. 
07:00 pm: Get a bus to Delhi which is scheduled to reach Delhi by 01:30 am.(19-Sep) 
 

Day 8

Delhi to Mumbai

Reach Delhi ISBT by 01:30 am and move to train station.
Rest in waiting-room of the train station and board Mumbai train. 
We have a connecting train at 03:45 am from Nizamuddin Railway Station in Delhi to Mumbai. 

The group will be reaching Borivali at 22:46, and Mumbai central at 23:35 Hrs on the same day.

The tour ends with lots of happy memories and stories to tell.

Important Note

TRAIN TRAVEL:

♦ Our crew will be traveling by train number 12903 Golden Temple (Mumbai central to Hazrat Nizamuddin station) You may choose to join the group from Mumbai itself. We can help you with booking train tickets. The Tour Leader will be carrying the tickets with him and he will be coordinating with TTE too. 
♦ While returning we will be travelling by train number 12904 Golden Temple (Hazrat Nizamuddin station to Mumbai central).
♦ We get the train tickets from online IRCTC , if you book late you will get RAC/Waiting List Ticket. OR, you have to opt for Tatkal Ticket. Mischief Treks does not have any authority on Indian railways and train rules need to be followed with reference to your train travel. Roles and responsibility of Mischief Treks comes in from the point you exit train station and ends once you are back to the train station. Train/ Flight are beyond our controlling authority and hence not a part of our role in this tour. We can only provide help in your travel till Haridwar and back to Mumbai.
♦ In the situation wherein the waiting list ticket or RAC does not get confirmed we can get Tatkal tickets booked on your behalf. The charges for Tatkal needs to be paid accordingly. The regular quota ticket booking charges are already incorporated in the "With Ticket" option available while booking. Also there are various options for consideration as mentioned in detail in the cancellation policy.
♦ The organizer (Mischief Treks) reserves right to make changes to the itinerary depending on the situation (if need be).

Additional activities/options: 

♦ During the walk to Kedarnath Temple you can get a "Palki" at cost of 7-9K depending on availability and your weight. 
♦ You can also opt for Horse ride which will cost 2500 to 3500 one way.
♦ A "Pitthu" can be hired by paying 5000 one side.
(Start working out daily and save this cost. Be fit to walk up to the temple)

♦ Short Rafting : 1000 -1500 depending on KM, and longer ones 1200-1600 approx.
♦ Bunge Jumping : 3500 fix charges,  
♦ Flying Fox : 1500-2000
♦ Zipline : 700-800

Coordination:

We will be creating a WhatsApp group 3 days prior to the event date for coordination and final instructions. The batch coordinator will be carrying all train tickets and will meet you at the train station. Apart from coordinator details and tickets all information is available on this page itself.

Q.  How do I get all the details about the tour, like charges, meeting time, pickup time and location, inclusion, exclusion, things to carry, etc? Can someone read it out for me on phone?

Ans. All the details are mentioned on this page itself, once you scroll up you will all info on your screen. Sorry we do not verbally provide details on phone as it usually creates  lot of misunderstanding and miscommunication. Also, its extremely important to read and understand all the details before you book the event so that you have absolute clarity. If  something mentioned on this page is  confusing , you can get clarity on chat by clicking on chat with us button on top. To discuss things that are not mentioned on this website we can arrange a callback from one of our Tour leaders.

Q. I have booked/paid for the event, is my booking confirmed for the event? 

Ans. No !, your booking can become invalid if you do not submit the "Most Important Details" required for emergency situations. For any Trek/Adventure event the organizers need to have your details at least 24 hours prior to the event. We do not allow anyone to the campsite until we have complete and authentic details of the person. This info is crucial in case of an emergency and is a mandatory KYC parameter. The link for the "personal details form" will be sent on WhatsApp immediately after you complete the booking instructions mentioned on the website. Submitting incomplete/incorrect/fake details in the form will make your booking invalid and no refund will be provided in such case. 

Q. Why is submitting emergency contact details and KYC information mandatory?

Ans. Its a standard protocol and also a guideline by Govt of India. We are accountable for every "Human-Body" present at our campsite or trek is our responsibility and in case of any unfortunate event we will be asked by authorities to provide all relevant information about you. In order to comply with the authorities we have to take authentic information from you. Fake/Incomplete information or non-submission of the details will make your ticket (paid amount) invalid and no refund will be provided in such case. You will not be allowed to participate in the event. 

Q. Does the cancellation policy/rescheduling policy apply to me if I book on event day or last day?

Ans:  Yes, the policy is applicable irrespective of the booking date. The cancellation / reschedule policy is applicable to everyone with immediate effect from the date and time of booking. The refunds/rescheduling requests will be processed based on the date and time of cancellation/reschedule request sent to us and the date and time of booking the event are irrelevant. 

Q. What is the basis of cancellation/reschedule policy in case of medical or personal emergency of participant or organizing team?

Ans:  The cancellation policy is based on fairness towards the participant and the organizing team. In case of medical/personal emergency, the loss arising out of cancellation/reschedule will be borne by the respective person. i.e. if the organizing team faces an emergency situation and the event gets canceled, the participant will not have to suffer financial loss. Similarly, if the participant faces an emergency situation, the organizing team will not have to suffer financial loss. The cancellation policy is designed with a completely unbiased approach towards the participant and organizing team and is aimed at fairness towards both.

Q. How many people will be coming for Kedarnath Tour/Kedarnath Trek?

Ans. Depends on the number of people booking the event. Generally, the batch size is approximately 20-25 participants. 

Q. Are there any offers discounts?

Ans. The charges on website haven't yet been adjusted (inflated) to provide for discounts. Mentioned amount is the lowest actual charges and hence discounts are currently not possible. We will soon be revising (increasing) the charges in next few weeks to make buffer for negotiations, offers and discounts.

Q. Is Kedarnath Tour/Kedarnath Trek safe for solo participants? 

Ans. Yes is safe and comfortable. Mostly 40% of the participants come solo and blend in with the leaders and the rest of the group.  

Q. Is Kedarnath Tour/Kedarnath Trek safe for girls? 

Ans. Mischief Treks has a track record of making our events extremely safe for girls. Normally 60 – 75 % of our participants are females.

Q. Can we pay in cash or installment for Kedarnath Tour/Kedarnath Trek?

Ans. Sorry we do not accept cash payments. There are no installment scheme.

Q. What is the last date of booking the Kedarnath Tour/Kedarnath Trek?

Ans. Bookings close once tickets are sold out. Ideally you need to book atleast 1 month advance.

Q. How do we get in touch after reaching meeting point? 

Ans. We will be creating a whatsapp group for coordination where you will be provided all the necessary information regarding contact person, exact point to meet etc..

Q. Will we be returning at exact time mentioned in the itinerary?

Ans. The Itinerary is for reference purpose only, it is based on average time taken during our previous events. Actual timeline for a particular date depends on Weather conditions, Traffic Conditions, Participants speed and endurance.

Mischief Treks has scheduled a special batch for Kedarnath Yatra for existing participants on September 14, 2025. Batches for new participants also has been lined up. 

 

 

Cancellation, Rescheduling And Refund Policy
  • 90% will be refunded if cancelled 30 days (720+ hrs) in advance.
  • 75% will be refunded if cancelled 20 days (480+ hrs) in advance.
  • 50% will be refunded if cancelled 10 days (240+ hrs) in advance.
  • 0% refund if cancelled in less than 10 days (240 hours) of the event date and time.
  • 0% refund if the participant drops out, misses bus pickup in Bhuj, does not reach the Bhuj station on scheduled date and time. 

Cancellation Policy Explanation 

  1. The partial payment is Non-Refundable, and non transferable payment.
  2. The calculation will be based on total tour cost that you have booked. Incase you have paid only a partial amount, the partial payment (if any) is not taken into consideration for calculating refund percentage based on total tour cost. 
  3. If the event itself gets cancelled by Mischief Treks, The participant will be given the option to switch to any other event or any other date, Or you can opt for 100% refund. No charges will be deducted and the Participant will gets full refund of the amount paid by him/her.
  4. If due to unavailability of train travel, or any other reason the Participant has to cancel the tour, The percentage of refund (as mentioned above in cancellation policy, with reference to days remaining for departure) is applicable after deduction of third-party cancellation charges i.e. train and stay. The cancellation charges of train tickets and stay need to be paid by the participant. For this event the stay cancellation charges are 2500/- per person per night of stay, Local arrangement cancellation charges will be 1500 per person per day, and train cancellation charges will be as applicable as per Indian Railways rules. Eg. If cancellation is done 11 days before departure, 2500 will be deducted from total tour amount paid and the from remaining amount 50% will be refunded.
  5. Any external charges like convenience charges, train ticket booking charges of travel agents, or any other charges are not refundable.
  6. In case the train tickets booked for the tour remain in waiting until 24 hours prior to departure date, We can assist in getting Tatkal Tickets as per tatkal timing of IRCTC. Additional charges for Tatkal or premium needs to be paid by the participant as applicable. 
  7. In case tatkal or premium tatkal is not available and existing waiting list ticket gets cancelled by IRCTC, The participant will have to cancel his/her tour as per Point number 4 in this section. 
  8. Based on availability the Participant may be provided an option to reschedule the tour for a later date. The Rescheduling will be done as per residual amount after deducting stay cancellation charges and this would require differential charges to be paid by the participant.
  9. In case of Partial Payment for booking the slot, the balance payment needs to be paid 20 days prior to departure date and time. If the participant defaults in making payment and does not clear the dues 20 days prior to departure date, the partial amount will be forfeited and the participant will be considered drop out. 
  10. Non-Adherence to any of the terms and details explained on this page, or intentionally ignoring the terms will lead to disciplinary action against the said participant and he/she may be expelled from the group. 

Rescheduling request by Participant 

  • If you need to reschedule your booking to any other date, it can be done only if the rescheduling request is sent at least 20 days prior to event date and time and the request will be considered after paying cancellation charges for stay and travel, booked for the given date. 
  • Rescheduling can only be done based on availability for the given date. 

NOTE: Please do not book this event if you do not agree to the terms and details mentioned on this page. This mutually agreed cancellation policy is applicable to the participant and us as well. The Date and time of cancellation request sent to us will be considered for calculation of the applicable slab given above. The date and time of booking the event are not relevant for calculating the number of days and hours remaining between the event date and cancellation request. It's a humble request, please do not give medical reasons, crib, argue or try to threaten/blackmail us if you drop out or cancel/reschedule the trek due to the situation at your end . 

The basis of the cancelation policy is to protect the participant and the organizers from undue financial losses arising out of unforeseen situations. If the event gets canceled due to the medical/personal emergency of the organising team member, the participants will not have to suffer financial loss. Similarly, if there is a medical/personal emergency at the participant's end, the organizing team will not have to suffer financial loss.
