You need to reach the campsite in your Own vehicle. We will be sharing GPS locations and directions/instructions on the WhatsApp Group.

NOTE: If you miss this train you will miss the pickup you have paid for. You will have to hire a taxi on your own to reach the campsite.
Three hours prior to the event date and time, We will be creating a WhatsApp group for pickup and meeting point coordination purposes. Details regarding the contact person and number at Kasara will be shared in the group.
Detailed Plan for Igatpuri Camping
DAY 1:
- You can reach the Campsite by 04:00 pm by catching the recommended train mentioned above, or by your own vehicle.
- Once you reach, you can freshen up, and settle down in your tents.
- Evening snacks and tea will be available from 04.30 pm to 06:00 pm
- Then you can get geared up for the watersports and can start with the Watersports activities.
- High tea and Snacks will be served and then you can continue with your Watersports at the campsite.
- Dinner will be ready around 09:00 pm.
- We'll be then having our New Year Party Bash
- Post that, you can call off the day, go to rest or spend time near the Bonfire and the lakeside. (Although blankets will be provided in the tent we recommend getting extra /bedsheets/blankets/Jackets to keep you warm and comfortable)
DAY 2:
- Wake up at your own leisure time and freshen up.
- If you couldn't get the water activities done on the previous day, you can do them today.
- 08.15 am: Breakfast will be ready.
- Approx 10.00 am: Check out of the campsite.
Rules for Igatpuri Camping:
- Camp in charge's decision will be final and binding.
- Participants or Members are responsible for his/her own safety and baggage.
- Under unavoidable situations organizing team reserves all the right to change/deviate/ cancel the plans without prior notice.
- Once booking is confirmed refund will not be possible in any situation.
- For Safety and Security reasons, It's important to fill the out personal details form 24 hours prior to the event. Non-submission of the form will make your booking invalid and no refund will be provided. This form link will be shared with you on whatsapp after you have booked the event.
- The personal details KYC form will be sent to you via whatsapp after making payment for the booking this form needs to be submitted with authentic details.

- BEFORE Booking please ensure you have gone through all the details, FAQ, Points to note, About Us, and Disclaimer.
- Food: The food during the event is home cooked food provided by local villagers living in tribal (Aadivasi) region. If you are choosy, cranky and grumpy about food, please avoid joining this event.
- Transport: If you do not reach Kasara by 02.47pm as mentioned in itinerary, you will miss the pickup vehicles you have paid for. In such situation you will have to hire a taxi from Kasara at your own cost.
Mischief treks does not own busses, Jeeps, Trains, or Flight. The transport options are hired by us just like people hire Ola/Uber/Auto/Taxi/Train. Any issues regarding the transport vehicles need to be addressed to concerned transport service provider. Pickup-and-Drop for the event is arranged only as "help" towards common means to travel together, Mischief Treks does not provide transport services or takes any liability regarding the same. Our role and responsibility starts from base village where the camping is conducted. - About us: Don't forget to check the About-Us page if you are new to trekking in Maharashtra.
- Discounts: To be honest, Discounts and coupon codes are just a marketing trick to fool people. No one offers something below the pre-decided rate slab. The charges on website haven't yet been adjusted (inflated) to provide for discounts. Mentioned amount is the lowest actual charges and hence discounts are currently not possible. Each organiser charges a certain amount based on his understanding regarding 'Worth' of his own event.
- KYC Form: Once you have paid for the event you will receive a KYC form on WhatsApp as soon as your payment is verified by system. You need to submit this form within 3 hours of receiving the form. If you have booked for your friends too, you need to ask each of your friend to get this done. If you are booking just 1 day prior to event, the form needs to be submitted immediately to avoid any inconvenience (Refer FAQ section below)

Q. How far is the campsite from Kasara and how is the road condition?
Ans. The road from Mumbai till Kasara Ghat is good as its a national highway. Post that few patches have potholes and/or the road is broken for few meters. Its a 17km road from Kasara to campsite.
Q. What is provided in meals at Igatpuri Lakeside camping?
Ans. Evening snacks consist of Bhel/Pakoda/Tea. The Dinner options are Jain / Veg / NonVeg Biryani, with Chole curry and Chicken curry along with Salad, Papad and Raita. The Morning breakfast options are Poha and Upma with tea.
Q: How to request for couple tent?
Ans. Once you have completed your booking formalities, you can opt for Add-on option for getting a couple tent allocated by sharing your preference with us on WhatsApp. Plz note, as explained in important points to note, this is not a camping focused event, and stay arrangements will be as per weather conditions
Q. Why are toilets away from the tents?
Ans. The water in lake is source of drinking water for nearby villages. As per general guidelines toilets need to be atleast 100 mtr away from all the sources which feed water to the lake during rainy season.
Q. How should I book Igatpuri Lakeside camping?
Ans. All you have to do is, ensure that you have carefully read and understood the details mentioned on this page and then press the "Book Now" button on this page and follow the instructions.
Q. Can we pay in cash or on-spot at Igatpuri Lakeside camping?
Ans. Sorry, we do not accept cash payments, on-spot payments, or installments. Advance booking is compulsory. Booking closes as soon as the tents are sold out.
Q. What is the last date of booking Igatpuri Lakeside camping?
Ans. Registrations close once tickets are sold out. Ideally, you need to book at least 2-3 days in advance.
Q. Are kids allowed at Igatpuri Lakeside camping?
Ans. Kids of any age are welcome for camping
Q. Does the campsite have Washroom Facility?
Ans. We have washroom available at 2-4 min walking distance from the lake which is a source of drinking water for villagers. It is a common washroom for all participants of the camping event. Image of washroom is available in the picture album link provided in Image section. This is a basic washroom in a of the village, it's clean and usable until people reach, beyond that, it purely depends on the participants on how they use it. It won't be like the ones you find in hotels or restaurants.
Q. Is drinking water provided?
Ans. Yes, normal tap water for drinking is provided free of cost to all participants.
Q: Can we reach or leave early/late from the campsite?
Ans. Of course! IF you have your own wheels, you're welcome to head out early. You can skip dinner, and if you're ready to hit the road, you can return to your comfort zone in no time. We don't have any restrictions or obligations when it comes to staying back at the campsite. You can reach and leave as per your choice. The charges for participation will be the same for all participants. Skipping part of event will not qualify for special rates or discounts.
Q: Are pets allowed in Igatpuri Lakeside camping?
Ans. We don't mind, but the forest stray dogs cause trouble for all other participants when they sense presence of any outsider animal in their territory. If this happens we will have to ask the pet to be taken away from campsite. Hence we highly recommend not bringing any pets into any forest region. You can get them on your own responsibility.
Q. Can someone read details for me on phone?
Ans. All the details are mentioned on this page itself, once you scroll up you will all info on your screen. Sorry, we do not verbally provide details on the phone as it usually creates a lot of misunderstanding and miscommunication. Also, its extremely important to read and understand all the details before you book the event so that you have absolute clarity. Q: I have Registered/paid for the event, is my Registration confirmed?
Ans. No ! , your Registration can become invalid if you do not submit the "Most Important Details" required for emergency situations. For any Trek/Adventure event the organizers need to have your details at least 24 hours prior to the event. We do not allow anyone to the campsite until we have complete and authentic details of the person. This info is crucial in case of an emergency and is a mandatory KYC parameter. The link for the "personal details form" will be sent on WhatsApp after making payment. Submitting incomplete/incorrect/fake details in the form will make your booking invalid and no refund will be provided in such case.
Q. Why is submitting emergency contact details and KYC information mandatory?
Ans. Its a standard protocol and also a guideline by Govt of India. We are accountable for every "Human-Body" present at our campsite or trek is our responsibility and in case of any unfortunate event we will be asked by authorities to provide all relevant information about you. In order to comply with the authorities we have to take authentic information from you. Fake/Incomplete information or non-submission of the details will make your ticket (paid amount) invalid and no refund will be provided in such case. You will not be allowed to participate in the event.
Q. We are coming by our own vehicle for camping event where should we reach & how far is campsite ?
Ans. As explained in the "How to Reach" section on this page, you need to click on the Google Map link and follow the directions. The distance from Mumbai to the campsite is 126 KM which takes around 03 Hrs 30 min to reach by road. Also, we will be sharing the same details in Whatsapp group for the event.
Q. Does the campsite have Washroom Facility?
Ans. We have washroom available at 2-4 min walking distance from the lake which is a source of drinking water for villagers. It is a common washroom for all participants of the camping event.
Q. What all things are provided in the tent?
Ans. The tent contains a Styrofoam mat which is similar to a yoga mat, and a blanket for each person. We suggest you to bring (optional) a bedsheet or blanket to add on to the comfort levels.
Q. How many people will share the tent OR can we have separate tent for ourselves?
Ans. We have tents of 2 different size . 2/3 person capacity tents are available, you can chose from any of these as per number of persons coming along with you. Tent size is as per standard international norms for tents. The 2 person tent is dimension: 200 x 150 x 110 cm. The 3 person tent has dimensions 200 x 200 x 130 cm. The 4 person tent has dimensions 220 x 250 x 150cm. After booking the event you need to email/message us your preference of tent size atleast 2 days prior to the event date. Allotment of tent size depends on availability of tents and payment made.
Q. If we are not satisfied with the services at campsite whom to contact/complain or provide feedback/review?
Ans. For Commercial locations like Igatpuri Camping : All the complaints, feedbacks, reviews to be addressed to the camp incharge of the commercial camping location you chose to book. Details of campsite will be shared with you on whatsapp after your booking process is completed. MischefTreks does not hold any responsibility of commercial locations chosen by you.

Q. How many people will be at the Igatpuri Lakeside camping event?
Ans. The count varies every weekend, for some weekends its 30-50 people and for some weekends in holiday season it goes upto 50-100 people/ During peak dates like Christmas and New-Year the count may reach up to 200 people.
Q. Is there network, charging point, electricity at campsite?
Ans. The campsite is a lakeside location away from civilization, you intermittent network connectivity is experienced. Jio network works fine at certain spots in the campsite.There is no electricity in the region hence the charging option is not available. Its a Tribal area.
Q. Is Parking available at Igatpuri campsite location?
Ans. Yes, Parking lot is available at the Igatpuri camping location. There is a open space where people park their vehicles. You may choose to park your vehicle at the given location at your own risk. Till date we have not encountered any issues related to parking.
Q. Can we leave anytime we want?
Ans. Yes you can leave anytime you wish if you come by your own vehicle. shared vehicle are with fixed time slot

This campsite known as 'Igatpuri Secret Camping and Watersports' is the only one in Maharashtra that provides adventure activities like zipline and watersports like kayaking, rafting, swimming complimentary with camping.
- 75% will be refunded if cancelled 20 days (480+ hrs) in advance.
- 50% will be refunded if cancelled 10 days (240+ hrs) in advance.
- 0% refund if cancelled in less than 10 days (240 hours) of the event date and time.
- 0% refund if the participant drops out, misses bus pickup, does not reach the meeting point on scheduled date and time.
If the event itself gets cancelled, you will be given the option to switch to any other event or any other date, Or you can opt for 100% refund.
If you need to reschedule your booking to any other date, it can be done free of cost if the rescheduling request is sent 480 hours prior to event. From 00 hrs - 480 hours prior to event date and time, free rescheduling is not permitted. It will be counted as cancellation done in less than 480 hours of event date and time. It's a humble request, please do not give medical reasons, crib, argue or try to blackmail us if you drop out or cancel/reschedule the trek in last 20 days. This mutually agreed cancellation policy is applicable to you and us as well. Date and time of cancellation request sent to us will be considered in calculation of applicable slab given above. The date and time of booking the event are not relevant for calculating the number of days and hours remaining between the event date and cancellation request.
